SETTING UP YOUR WEB-ACCESS EMAIL

 

Outlook Express 

Username change:  Click: Tools-Accounts-Mail-Properties- Change user name to yourusername@web-access.net

Leave a copy of mail on server:  Click: Tools-Accounts-Mail-Properties-Advanced-Uncheck “Leave a copy on server”

Authentication:  Click: Tools-Accounts-Mail-Properties-Servers-Check box for “My outgoing server requires authentication”

Microsoft Outlook 2003

Username change: Click: Tools -Email accounts–View or change existing email accounts–Next-Change–Under Logon information, change user name to yourusername@web-access.net

Leave a copy of mail on server:  Click: Tools-Email accounts–View or change existing email accounts–Next–Change-More settings–Advanced Tab-Uncheck “Leave a copy on server”

Authentication:  Click: Tools-Email accounts-View-Next-Change-More settings-Outgoing server tab-Check box for “My outgoing server requires authentication”

Microsoft Outlook 2007

Username change:  Click: Tools-Account Settings-From Email tab double click on your name/email address-Under Logon Information change username to yourusername@web-access.net

Leave a copy of mail on server:  Click: Tools-Account Settings-From email tab double click on your name/e-mail address-More Settings-Advanced Tab-Uncheck “Leave a copy on server”

Username change:  Click: Tools-Accounts-Under “Mail” Double Click on your name/email address-Under the Servers Tab change your e-mail user name to yourusername@web-access.net

Leave a copy of mail on server:  Click: Tools-Accounts-Double Click on your name/email address-Under the Advanced Tab uncheck “Leave a copy of messages on server”
